The Challenge
Our client is a market leader in business intelligence and data analytics technologies. Recently, their software was selected for use at one of India’s major airports. When integrating our client’s software, the airport had to verify that it would not leak any data and that it was not vulnerable to cyber-attacks. Our client required a partner that would ensure their software passed all the security tests and that it was used by the airport to assist in making critical decisions.
The Solution
The Client enlisted Matrix3D’s IT security services to get a comprehensive VAPT (Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing) report done for their application.
We knew how important and comprehensive the report would need to be. The report had to be of the highest standard. The diligence could not omit any lacuna.

That’s why in addition to our standard VAPT procedure of testing systems against the OWASP top 10 vulnerabilities, we also performed manual threat hunting. Our audit report was thorough and left no detail overlooked. We followed the required reporting format and, in some cases, even exceeded the airport authorities’ stringent requirements for raw data and hard evidence.
An important feature that would bring clear understanding was a Risk Matrix. After completing the VAPT audit, we presented the risk matrix to our client along with strategies to overcome these vulnerabilities. This enabled them to take fast corrective action to make their programme more robust.
The client was pleased with the vulnerability assessment security report, and so was the airport.
The airport has now advised other companies to get their software tested through Marix3D.
